Terms of Service

IgboCrush is operated by Softnergy Limited, a company registered in Scotland under company number SC619146 (“IgboCrush”, “we”, “us” or “our”).

By creating an account or using the IgboCrush app or website, you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not accept them, please do not use the service.

To join IgboCrush you must:

• —be at least 18 years of age;
• —be legally able to enter into this agreement;
• —not have been previously removed from IgboCrush; and
• —not have been convicted of, or be subject to any order relating to, a violent or sexual offence.

We may close any account where we have reason to believe these requirements are not met.

You are responsible for the accuracy of your profile and for keeping your sign-in details confidential. Each member may hold one personal account only, which may not be shared, sold or transferred.

If you suspect someone else has accessed your account, please contact support@igbocrush.com straight away.

IgboCrush is built on courtesy, honesty and respect. When you use the service, you agree not to engage in any of the following:

• —Content that is sexually explicit, harassing, hateful, threatening or discriminatory.
• —Impersonating anyone, or creating a false, misleading or duplicate profile.
• —Requesting money, gifts, financial details or investments from other members.
• —Advertising, commercial solicitation, spam or promoting other services.
• —Sharing another person’s private information or images without their consent.
• —Any unlawful activity, or encouraging others to engage in it.
• —Using bots, scraping, or otherwise interfering with the service or its security.

Photo verification helps ensure that every member is a real person who looks like their pictures. Verified members display a verification badge.

Submitting photographs of anyone other than yourself, or attempting to deceive the verification process in any way, will result in the closure of your account.

You retain ownership of the photographs, words and other content you share. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display and adapt that content solely for the purpose of operating and promoting the service to other members. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, save for copies we are required by law to retain.

You confirm that you have the right to share everything you upload, and that it does not infringe the rights of anyone else. We may remove any content that breaches these terms.

Our Premium membership is known as Odogwu for gentlemen and Achalụgo for ladies. It is offered on the plans and at the prices shown in the app before you buy, and is billed through your Apple App Store or Google Play account.

Tokens may be purchased in the app and used for features such as gifts, chat access and Chat Helper. Tokens and gifts are a licence to use digital features within IgboCrush only: they have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred, and are non-refundable once used, except where the law requires.

Gifts, including Oji, are symbolic tokens of appreciation sent between members within the app. They are not physical items and carry no obligation on the part of the recipient.

Chat Helper offers AI-generated message ideas when you request them. Suggestions are offered for convenience only; nothing is sent without your choosing, and you remain responsible for every message you send.

We may adjust the price of tokens or the token cost of features from time to time, but any change will be shown clearly before you spend.

We take reasonable steps to keep IgboCrush safe, but we do not conduct criminal background checks and cannot guarantee the identity, intentions or conduct of any member. Please exercise care:

• ✓Never send money or financial information to anyone you have met online.
• ✓Meet for the first time in a public place, and let a friend or relative know your plans.
• ✓Arrange your own transport, and leave whenever you feel uncomfortable.
• ✓Report anything that concerns you; we would always rather hear from you.

You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account.

We may suspend or close an account, or restrict access to features, where we reasonably believe these terms have been breached, or where it is necessary to protect our members or the service. Where a closure results from a breach of these terms, unused membership time and tokens are forfeited, except where the law requires otherwise.

Following closure, your data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

IgboCrush provides a place to meet; we are not responsible for the conduct of members, whether on or off the service, nor for any relationship or meeting that arises from it. The service is provided “as is” and, while we work hard to keep it available and secure, we cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

We may update these terms as IgboCrush evolves. Where a change is material, we will let you know by email or in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service thereafter constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the law of Scotland, and any dispute shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Scottish courts. If you live elsewhere in the United Kingdom or in the European Union, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts and retain the protection of your local consumer law.
